Vacation Bible School

Women’s Bible Study

COMPASS

COMPASS meets the last Saturday of each month in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church in Sarcoxie. Come join us for a casual worship service. Coffee House opens at 6:30 p.m. and the worship service is at 7:00 p.m.

The music, led by Nathan Haskins, is very contemporary and upbeat, followed by inspiring messages from Bro. Sam Wilson. Bring your friends for an extraordinary time of Fellowship, Music and Worship.

Women’s Bible Study

“Through the Bible”

This Bible study for men and women meets Sunday evenings at 5:00. The class is reading the Bible straight through, discussing each chapter as they go. It is led by Josh Phillips and Bob Cadwell.

Youth 180

FBC Sarcoxie Youth participate in a number of fellowship activities. Youth events are designed for students, helping them to grow in their relationship with Christ and lead them to share their Christian faith with others.

Every Wednesday evening, at 6:30, the Youth Group meets for discipleship, fun, music and fellowship. Youth leaders provide challenging lessons focusing on life issues and the Biblical foundations which are the key to making the difficult decisions youth face on a daily basis.

TeamKID

TeamKID is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. All parts of TeamKID—Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application, missions, and recreation—connect to teach life lessons to kids.

Girls In Action (GAs)

Girls In Action (GAs) meets Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m., except during summer months (no GAs during the summer).

GA is a comprehensive missions education program, for girls in grades 1-6, which includes praying for missions, engaging in missions action and witness, learning about missions, developing spiritually toward a missions lifestyle, participating in the work of the church and denomination, and supporting missions.

Through participation in GA, girls grow in their knowledge, understanding, and application of the Bible. They also learn from the example of missionaries, believers, and hands-on mission action what it means to actively engage in ministering to others with the compassion of Christ.

By hearing about missionaries in many different places, a GA discovers that God’s mission is world wide. By doing missions herself, she learns that she has a responsibility to change the world.
